In 2008 he was diagnosed with Chronic Renal Failure  (Kidney Disease) and being the person that he is, he saw the needs of  others through his pain and struggle and started the<strong> \u201cGot Kidney  Foundation\u201d<br \/>\n<\/strong><br \/>\nThis foundation raises awareness about donor needs and the struggles of  the disease. This Sunday we offer MAJOR to continue raising the  awareness and also raise much needed funds for RASCUE\u2019s medical needs.<br \/>\n<strong>DJ RASCUE<\/strong> also put this great<a onclick=\"javascript:pageTracker._trackPageview('\/outbound\/article\/http:\/\/gotkidney.bandcamp.com\/');\" href=\"http:\/\/gotkidney.bandcamp.com\/\" target=\"_blank\"> Hip-Hop Compilation CD <\/a>that supports his cause  through music. We will be celebrating the release of this CD and will  have copies for sale as well.<br \/>\nResident <strong>DJ MPENZI<\/strong> Plus Special Guest<strong> DJ RASCUE<\/strong> will be on the decks all night.<br \/>\n<strong>JUSTIN<\/strong> aka <strong>j s i g h t<\/strong> will be hosting  and getting those great snapshots of the event.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>SOMAR BAR|1727 TELEGRAPH  AVE|OAKLAND<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Bay is a hub of great people.
