Hey, so it’s our 10th anniversary (we started back in Aug 1999), so we are doing a bunch of fun stuff to commemorate the occasion. Mike Brown (the owner of TRUE) was rather instrumental in getting us to start our own thing, and we’re teaming up in the month of Sept to bring a bit of Peach to the SF True location. Starting Sept 5th, you’ll find a bunch of our o.g. hip hop artist shirts at the 1427 Haight St location. Quannum, ATCQ, RSE, Aesop Rock, Mr. Lif, Madvillain, Madlib, and some okayplayer to start. WHO: Juxtapoz Art & Culture Magazine celebrates its 15th anniversary with “The Big Payback,” an online charity art auction and a special event in Los Angeles hosted by Upper Playground. The event benefits the non-profit Power House Project of Detroit.
