If we can brave the crazy traffic, we’re heading out the the Silly Pink Bunny Funeral tonight at 6pm (corner of Haight & Laguna, SF).

The SPB & murals on the corner will be destroyed as part of new development on the block.  There are plans to replace the bunny with a new 10′ bronze bunny also in the Haight!

Can’t wait to see the finished Souls of Mischief documentary by Shomari Smith which recently had a pre-screening at the New Parkway.  The 20th anniversary of 93 ’til Infinity is celebrated by the group & artists recount the influence of the album.  Check for release updates on their FB page.

Elka (our photographer)’s friend, skater Jimi Damone, recently lost  the fingers on his right hand in a freak accident.   This would be devastating for anyone, but it’s especially difficult because Jimi is an artist (including wood and leather work).  By all accounts, he has the best attitude around, but recovery is going to be a long road.

Please check out his fundraising campaign, in case you would like to donate.  A benefit show will be  held on Friday, September 13th at Public House in Reno.
