We’ve been longtime internet admirers/IG stalkers of Sam Rodriguez, but we only recently realized that he liked the same music as us. We were excited when he started to do images of QBert and Pam the Funkstress, but almost passed out when he revealed his designs for Hieroglyphics. We’re hoping for shirts. When they released the pre-order for Run The Jewels 2 (out Oct 27th), they added some jokey bonus items, one of which was a “Meow the Jewels” package which included RTJ re-recording the album with cat sounds. Someone started a “Meow The Jewels” Kickstarter to cover the $40,000 price tag, and yeah, it was just funded.
In case you would still like to contribute to the Kickstarter, there are still 11 days left.
I don’t know why we doubted that they’d reach (and surpass) the $45,000 goal…motherf******s are still bored….

Culture Clash SF was a veritable who’s who of Bay Area hip hop last night at the Regency Ballroom. Triple Threat (Apollo, Shortkut & Vinroc) took the top spot. B-Love took some pics.
Dirty Bird brought out Pharoahe Monch & Too $hort
(crazy filming from the crowd courtesy of Boogie Brown)
Triple Threat surprised the crowd a personalized version of “Nuthin’ But A G-Thang” and an appearance by Crystal Waters
(side of the stage filming is never the greatest, but you get the idea…)
