Slug is out playing with the kids in Atmosphere’s new video “Southsiders” shot in South Minneapolis. Atmosphere also just extended their North of Hell tour into November.  Supporting them on the tour are Prof, deM atlaS and DJ Fundo (except where noted).

Atmosphere’s latest is out today and is available in the shop.  They also released a video for “Camera Thief”:

New video from Atmosphere for their new single, “Kanye West”.  It’s the second single from their upcoming album Southsiders, out May 6th.  The video was directed by Pete Lee.

Atmosphere will be performing at Red Rocks with The Grouch & Eligh, PROF, deM atlaS, and Get Cryphy on August 29th.  Tickets go on sale FRIDAY at 10am MST.

Southsiders, the Atomosphere’s eighth studio album, was recorded in south Minneapolis and Oakland and is a shout-out to their native neighborhood. While it is a celebration of their fortitude, it is also deeply introspective and “a very detailed look at my life,” says Slug. With Southsiders, the group’s unique sound featuring vibrant, live instrumentation and Slug’s often-weighty subject matter, continue to push the boundaries of what indie rap can mean.
