Black Milk and Souls blaze through a remix of of “Stop & Look”, which is the first single off Adrian Younge Presents The Delfonics. The album is out March 12th on Wax Poetics.
The official music video for “ShadowBoxing” is now out! The video was shot in Berkeley, CA at the Special Delivery Warehouse.
The ShadowBoxing Deluxe Edition album is now available on iTunes. The Deluxe Edition contains new unreleased songs and remixes, including rappers Mike G & A-1 on “Gusto”.

We briefly caught up with @vastaire2090 and Vordul Mega while they were in SF (sorry, we planned on doing a video interview, but it was too loud at the time). They were pretty excited about getting back into the studio to record new material with a number of different producers. Vast also has a project with Kenyattah Black @kbliggah called Crimson Godz aka Black Voltron with beats by Bill Cosmiq.
We asked them about the status of Atoms Family…they said it’s pretty much defunct. They’re still cool with Cryptic, but he’s just not doing music anymore.
New music will be coming out on their label, IGC (Iron Galaxy Clik) Records. Vast is also working on a book called The Asiatic Calendar.
They are currently on tour with the crew which also includes Double AB, I Realz, Keith Masters, DJ Lokash. The remaining dates:

Legendary New York artist RAMMELLZEE lived in a Tribeca loft known as the “Battle Station,” where he conceived of a new vision for the future – a self-made mythology known as Gothic Futurism, filled with characters of his creation: Recyclers, Trashers, Garbage Gods and Monster Models. This exhibit explores the world of RAMMELLZEE’s making.
As the largest exhibit of his work to date, GALAXSEUM is a visual encyclopedia of RAMMELLZEE’s multimedia artwork including his full-body life-sized costumes, masks, letter racers, character frescoes, figurines, large scale paintings, and video and audio recordings.

DJ Turbulence‘s latest mix L.I.S.S.E.N. U.P. is a tribute mix to the hip-hop classics that we grew up listening to with tracks from Gang Starr, Dilated Peoples, Nas, KRS One, ATCQ and more. It’s not just a mix its a multi-layered dj puzzle filled with tricks, scratches and clever blends/mashups.
Tim “DJ Turbulence” Alejandro was born in Los Angeles, California. At the age of thirteen, an age where most of us are still playing with toys, DJ Turbulence was already practicing his skills on the turntables. He has spun on the air on Power 106 FM Los Angeles as well as all over the world through his affiliations with SKAM Artist and Battlestar Crew. Not to mention he has 3 US DMC Team Titles along with DJ Phonics. He is currently Lil Jon’s Touring DJ.
